Ingredints:
- Low fat curd-1 cup
- Gooseberries (Amla)-2
- Coconut-1 tsp-grated
- Cucumber-1 small, peeled
- Green chili-1
- Mustard seeds-½ tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Curry leaves-1-3 leaves
- Oil-½ tsp
Method :
- Wash and grategooseberry and cucumber, chop green chili finely.
- Grind gooseberry, coconut green chili and salt into a coarse mixture. Keep aside.
- In a bowl whisky the curd well, with little water until smooth.
- Stir in the ground gooseberry mixture and grated cucumber.
- Transfer the Raita into a serving
- Lightly brush non-stick pan with oil; add the mustard seeds and curry leaves. Allow them to crackle.
- Pour the seasoning over the Raita, stir and serve.
