Ingredints:

  • Low fat curd-1 cup
  • Gooseberries (Amla)-2
  • Coconut-1 tsp-grated
  • Cucumber-1 small, peeled
  • Green chili-1
  • Mustard seeds-½ tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Curry leaves-1-3 leaves
  • Oil-½ tsp

Method :

  • Wash and grategooseberry and cucumber, chop green chili finely.
  • Grind gooseberry, coconut green chili and salt into a coarse mixture. Keep aside.
  • In a bowl whisky the curd well, with little water until smooth.
  • Stir in the ground gooseberry mixture and grated cucumber.
  • Transfer the Raita into a serving
  • Lightly brush non-stick pan with oil; add the mustard seeds and curry leaves. Allow them to crackle.
  • Pour the seasoning over the Raita, stir and serve.
