Oats & Carrot Kheer

Ingredients:

  • Oats-4 tablespoon
  • Carrot-1, grated
  • Raisins-8
  • Milk-2 cups
  • Cardamom powder-1/2 teaspoon
  • Honey-2 teaspoon
  • Almonds-4

Method:

  • Take half cup milk and soak oats and raisins in it for about 10 minutes.
  • Keep the remaining milk with grated carrots to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Soaked raisins and oats are now to be added to the boiling milk with carrots.
  • Simmer the whole mixture for 5 more minutes.
  • Enhance flavours with cardamom powder, almonds and honey.
  • Serve hot.
